Tracey Grace

"Published Author - The Depth of Her Survival, 2023"

Offering trauma-informed psychotherapy, holistic counselling and integrative mental health support for those who are feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, stuck in survival mode or carrying the ongoing effects of trauma, anxiety, depression, chronic stress or unhealthy relationships.

With a nervous-system-centred, trauma-informed approach, drawing on neuroscience and body-based somatic practices, to support both the emotional and physiological impacts of trauma. Therapy is not just about managing symptoms, it is about understanding what your system has learned to do to protect you, gently addressing the experiences and patterns beneath the surface, and building greater safety, regulation and self-trust.

Sessions are warm, grounded and personalised, with space to work at your own pace. Support may include nervous system regulation, trauma processing, emotional regulation, belief and pattern work, practical coping strategies and strengthening the connection between mind and body.

Tracey has a particular interest in supporting people affected by domestic violence and coercive control, unhealthy relationship patterns, childhood trauma and adverse childhood experiences, military and service-related trauma, birth trauma and pregnancy loss, as well as PTSD, anxiety and depression from a wide range of life experiences.

The focus is on helping you feel safer within yourself, understand your responses with greater compassion, reconnect with who you are beneath survival patterns, and move toward a life that feels more grounded, connected and genuinely yours.

Psychotherapy & Counselling

Trauma-informed, Nervous System Centred, Holistic, Root Cause Approach

Online Trauma-Informed Psychotherapy and Holistic Counselling sessions offer a supportive space to explore the deeper patterns & root cause aspects behind what you are experiencing, not just the symptoms on the surface. Working with a range of concerns including anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, stress, burnout, trauma, emotional dysregulation, chronic pain, life transitions, low self-worth and other mental health or wellbeing concerns.

An approach is integrative, holistic and nervous-system centred, drawing from a range of psychotherapy and counselling approaches alongside somatic and body-based practices. Together, we look at the connection between your thoughts, emotions, relationships, past experiences, nervous system and physical responses, with the aim of understanding the root causes of distress and creating meaningful, sustainable change.

Online trauma-informed psychotherapy and integrative counselling for trauma, anxiety, stress and emotional overwhelm, with a nervous-system-centred approach focused on deeper patterns, regulation, self-trust and lasting change.

Integrative Trauma Therapy

Integrative Trauma Therapy is a personalised, whole-person approach designed to support people experiencing the ongoing effects of trauma, childhood adversity, chronic stress and difficult life experiences. Sessions are available both in person on the Gold Coast and online, and are tailored to the individual rather than following a single therapeutic model or fixed process.

This work may combine trauma-informed psychotherapy, holistic counselling, somatic and nervous-system-based approaches, aspects of EMDR, The Richards Trauma Process, kinesiology, Spinal Flow and other complementary techniques where appropriate. The focus is on understanding and working with the deeper patterns that may sit beneath symptoms such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, emotional dysregulation, chronic stress, unhealthy relationship patterns, low self-worth, physical tension and feeling stuck in repeated cycles.

Trauma-Informed Breathwork

Trauma-informed Breathwork is a guided, trauma-informed practice that uses conscious connected breathing to support emotional release, nervous-system regulation and deeper self-awareness. Sessions are available one-to-one, for couples, or in small groups, and are facilitated in a way that prioritises safety, choice and individual pacing.

Rather than forcing an experience, the work is designed to help you become more aware of how stress, emotion and past experiences are held in the body, while creating space for greater regulation, clarity and connection. Breathwork can support people who feel stuck in patterns of anxiety, emotional overwhelm, chronic stress, disconnection or tension, and can be a powerful complement to psychotherapy and other trauma-focused work.

Each session is adapted to the individual or group and may include grounding, nervous-system preparation, guided breathing, somatic awareness, emotional processing and integration. The focus is on helping you work with the body in a safe and supported way, rather than simply “pushing through” difficult emotions.
